Morgan's Pier reopened for the season in April with the chef's from Helm in charge of this year's menu. The fact that the menu is different every year is one big draw to keep coming back. That, and eating and drinking on the waterfront never stops being awesome. Morgan's Pier always has a decent beer and drink list to choose from. Hell's Kitchen Haitian Fried Turkey and Conch Stew
Where there used to be many in the area, Le Soleil is the last Haitian restaurant on 10th Avenue and 57th. It would be apt to describe this small BYO as homey. Though there is a menu, ignore it, because there are only a few dishes cooked each night. You don't really get to choose here. Love & Honey Fried Chicken, #PBW2017 snack break
Last night was Opening Tap for Philly Beer Week. The Fillmore was packed with beers to try, from quads to IPAs to ciders, there was no good way to keep track.
