The Polish Grannies You Never Had Are Cooking at Dinner House
I got a hot tip from fellow Polish food lover, Kory Aversa, about a Port Richmond restaurant that I had not yet tried. Dinner House opened up about two years ago; I remember visiting that location on E Allegheny Ave when it was a bakery. On my recent visit the five table restaurant was being operated by two Polish grandma types, who both waited on us and were cooking the food in the back. Soups here are a measly $3. We tried the pickle soup and zurek, a sour rye soup. Simila
