Frequently Asked Questions about Chinatown Food Tours
Q. How do I book a tour?
A. Send me an email with your number of guests and a few dates/times that work for you and we will decide on a mutually agreeable time- this will typically be a weekend or in the evening M-F as I also have a full time job.
Q. What can I expect on the tour?
A. We will walk around Chinatown sampling food from several different places. We will eat some of our food streetside and some stops will be at sit down restaurants.
Q. Is the tour given rain or shine?
A. As we do not walk far, the tour can be done in all weather depending on your comfort level.
Q. How long is the tour?
A. It lasts about 2 hours. Please be on time as there will be food waiting for us.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Option 1- For groups of 3-5 the price is $300
Option 2- For groups of 6 or more the cost is $53 per person
This pricing includes all food costs and tea.
Q. Is the tour child friendly?
A. Definitely! Children under 10 get a discount.
Q. What payment do you accept? When do we pay? Do you accept tips?

A. Yes, though it depends on the restriction, please let me know in advance.
Q. Is our meeting point easily accessible?
A. Yes, we will meet at 10th and Arch which is close to the Jefferson Station (Regional Rail) and the 17 bus. A parking lot at 44 N 10 Street charges about $7 an hour.
Q. What size group is ideal?
A. From a minimum of 3 people to a maximum of around 20 would be best. We want enough people so that we can share and enjoy while still being able to fit inside the smaller restaurants.
Q. Do you offer gift certificates?
A. I do!
Q. What type of restaurants do we go to?
A. We will go to my favorite hidden gems. I pick restaurants based on the most authentic and delicious flavors. It is important to me to support small businesses so I do not receive kickbacks and I always leave tips for the staff.
