Jamie navigates the Philadelphia food scene like a chef maneuvering through a kitchen. For many years, she has aimed her quill—and her palate—at New York and Philly's ethnic food scene, scouting out the most authentic foods from various culinary traditions. Born and raised eating on the spicy streets of Queens, New York, Jamie has been bringing people together through food since her 5th grade dim sum birthday parties. As a lifelong food adventurer she attacked Korean buffets and basement food courts in Queens as Fressa Girl- a fresh out of college, Queens resident. Next came the big move to Philadelphia for law school, finding herself spending less time on contracts and torts and more on devouring the best and most authentic foods around the city to report about it on Midtown Lunch Philly. Now, she continues to showcase the best food finds writing about food and taking residents and visitors alike on tours here at Philly Food Adventures.
